If your desktop computer is configured to allow RDP connections for remote access, we recommend you apply the most recent patches from Microsoft to fix a recently-discovered vulnerability that could allow a malicious attacker to fully compromise your machine. Should your machine be compromised, it will need to be rebuilt from a known-clean-and-safe source.

ITS-managed Windows servers will be having this fix applied during the Thursday maintenance windows over the next two weeks.
