UISVCSQL1 Rebooted

The server UISVCSQL1 was rebooted this morning around 10:30AM after noticing that Systems Support was no longer able to manage any of the VM’s through the vSphere Client. Once the server was restarted, we began the process of verifying that all the services have been restored.

BRK 134 Key Pad Door

The BRK 134 Key Pad Door by Brookens Auditorium has been fixed.  Depending on the building circulation, please be sure to make sure both of the key pad doors do not slam and/or make sure they click and close securely.  Thank you, KT

BRK 134 Key Pad Door

A work order has been entered for a loose hinge on the BRK 134 Key Pad Door by Brookens Auditorium.  This is causing the door to bind at the top and not close properly.  Please use extra care to make sure the door is closed securely when entering and exiting.  Thank you, KT

Reminder about ITS Emails to Campus

I just wanted to remind everyone that we have two standard templates for sending out official ITS emails to the campus that everyone in the department is welcome to use – one for notifications and one for maintenance announcements.  These templates are available at \\uisweb1\ISAT$ in folders labeled ITSMaintenance and ITSNotifications.  If you are unsure how to edit/send them, just let me know and I’m happy to give you a quick refresher (it’s painless, I promise!).
