Internet Explorer 10 is causing usability problems with CA Service Desk (in fact IE 10 is not blessed for usage with CA SDM).
Banner also has issues from what I hear. A lot of folks are on IE 10 by now, since Microsoft performs an automatic upgrade (e.g. Clevenger is on IE 10).
Firefox is supposed to be one workaround, the Help Desk has had success reverting back to IE 9 (others have had to re-install the OS if they reverted back).
