Exchange 2010 Service Pack 3

We will be applying Service Pack 3 to the Exchange Servers today. We will start with the Client Access Servers this morning, and once those are complete we will continue on to the others.

We don’t expect any mail services to be interrupted, and the process should be transparent to the users.

Cable Television – Outage

Partial Cable TV outage

Cable TV is out to Bluebell, Larkspur, Clover and Sunflower courts.

While drilling for soil compaction testing a contractor drilled through the fiber cable just west of Bluebell court.

I have emailed Steve Trutter (B&B electric) to see about splicing the 24 strands.

He is out of the office but is responding to email.

There will be no slack to pull back since it was direct bury cable.  The repairer will need to splice twice and add a length of fiber.

Or ????

No time estimate for repairs at this moment.

Jamie.

Updated- This is complete

I will be re-indexing the DB on the VMware SQL server tomorrow(Friday) at about 9:00am. There are no problems anticipated. However, here are some possibilities, if you use the VSphere Client you may notice some  slowness. We also may have some slowness with the VDI environment.
