CAS1 died on us this week and Brian rebuilt a new one. We are about to put it back in production so if you hear of any email issues please let us know.

DeShawn Pendelton will be joining the Learning Spaces Support Team as a Multimedia Technician starting Monday, January 27. DeShawn has a rich background in multimedia, experience in higher education, and a great personality for working with faculty, staff, and students. We are thrilled to have him join our team!
Wireless Controllers – Success!
The reboot of the wireless controllers this morning was successful. The redundancy is now working. Later today, we will simulate a failover of the primary controller to test the failover.
Rebooting Wireless Controllers – Friday, January 17
We will be rebooting the wireless controllers on Friday, January 17 from 7:30am-7:45am. During this 15 minutes, the campus may experience a disruption in wireless service. Please contact ITS Client Services at 217/206-6000 or techsupport@uis.edu if you have any questions or concerns.
Netscaler upgrade
We are beginning the upgrade process for the HA netscalers.
There are a total of 6 upgrades we need to do 3 on each box first.
We will be relocating the nescaler in UHB basement to a new rack.
Depending on the time we may not finish today.

Wireless Access is Now Available
All wireless services have been restored.

Wireless access is currently unavailable. We are working on resolving the issue.
Servers Down
We are currently have a SAN issue and it is effecting some of our servers. The following ones are not currently working. EDOCS, Helix, Otel, UISDATA, Fusion, Titanuim, Innocence, DOlist, FreeRad, Moodle, Helpdesk, WSUS, Limbo, Print2, WebSRV5, development servers, etc
This is back up!
VOIP issues
The Cisco Communications Manager 1 is down, we are running on CCM2. There is an open TAC case and we are waiting on the replacement RAID Controller. Some issues occurring because of the failure; the Sangamon Auditorium Ticket office phones cannot join their hunt group, only one phone is working properly, VM messages cannot be changed, and if you have a message indicator light lit on your phone it will not go out.
