Roger will be applying cumulative patch 2 for Blackboard tomorrow (8/28/2014) from 6am until 8am.
Given this is during the regularly scheduled maintenance window, this is more of a heads up.
The issues may not be limited to the BRK 254 switch.
We have discovered multicast flooding on the BRK 254 (VLAN 70) switch, due we believe, to faulty NIC drivers on specific models of Dell PCs. The issue occurs when the computers go into sleep mode, when they are up and working they are not flooding.
Bill and his team are planning to upgrade the drives this morning.
We will keep you posted.

This Friday (8/22/2014) after 5pm I will be working with AITS to re-install the SiteMinder authentication SW on UISgplprod2. This is in support of the IAM project.
This will impact most of the sites that have either of these base URLs https://uisapp-s.uis.edu or http://uisapp.uis.edu
