Email/Voicemail Maintenance – 2:30pm

In response to reported issues with voicemail, we will be rebooting one of our mailbox servers at 2:30pm. Users may be disconnected from email during this reboot; however, no data will be lost. Users may restart Outlook or Webmail immediately to be reconnected.

Camtasia Relay Maintenance

Camtasia Relay

 Thursday, June 13Camtasia Relay Camtasia Relay will be unavailable on Thursday, June 13 from 6am – Noon. 

We are moving Relay to higher capacity storage, resulting in improved performance. During this time, users will not be able to record presentations or view existing presentations. After noon, full functionality will be restored and existing presentations will be available.

Upcoming Maintenance – Relay, blogs.uis.edu, Blackboard

Upcoming Maintenance

May 14, 2013:  Camtasia RelayCamtasia Relay will be unavailable on Tuesday, May 14, 2013 from 7am – Noon.  This is scheduled maintenance to install the latest version of Relay.

The impact of this maintenance will be the addition of new features, including:

  • The ability to search for previously recorded presentations by date range
  • Enhanced reporting to view usage percentages, recording size, and encoding time

Please note that this upgrade will not affect any videos you have previously recorded.


May 16, 2013:  blogs.uis.edu

blogs.uis.edu will be unavailable on Thursday, May 16, 2013.  This is scheduled maintenance to install updates.  There will be no changes to existing blogs; they will become available again on Friday, May 17.


May 21-22, 2013:  Blackboard

Blackboard will be unavailable on Tuesday and Wednesday, May 21-22, 2013.  This scheduled maintenance will provide us with additional functionality and improved performance. Training on the new features is available.

WordPress Updated

WordPress was updated from version 3.1 to 3.3 this morning. Along with updating WordPress all of the Plugins and Themes were also updated.

After performing this update the Onswipe plugin, a plugin that renders the blog for a touch based devices, is now working as well.
