IAM Project Approved

As an update, the University-wide proposal for implementing a unified identity and access management (IAM) system has been approved. This is good new for UIS, as it will help resolve some long-standing support issues such as password synchronization and management.

The RFP is on the street now, with vendor presentations and proposal evaluation to follow within the next few months. The goal is to begin the work of implementing a system this summer.

All,

The Identity and Access Management (IAM) project was presented and officially approved by the AAMT on Friday. At this time we have cleared the University requirements for this project to move forward.  On behalf the CAV, thank you for your support and sponsorship of this project. We look forward to truly resolving the IAM issues and improving our users experience throughout the University.

Thank you,
