The student’s Oracle database is under maintenance for upgrade to Oracle 12.2.0.1.

We will be applying Exchange and Windows updates to the Exchange servers today starting at 9:30AM. Rolling reboots will occur. Some users may be momentarily disconnected and reconnected automatically as their mailbox fails over to other database servers. This process will continue throughout the morning, and into the afternoon until all servers are completed.

The Barracuda firmware updates were applied to both servers (one at a time) allowing mail to continue being filtered. The system load on remaining online server was not sufficient to cause any noticeable problems for our users. These servers are now running the latest stable release.

The DB ActiveDirectoryScripts on UISappsrvprod2 is being migrated to the PRODMSSQL cluster (this is not the AD Deprovisioning DB Wisdom is involved with).

This impacts a number of apps – e.g. :
iCard
Velocity
ALERTSENSE
CSC_CISCO
PortalUsers
STARFISH

So outages can be expected today (1/5) up through and including Thursday (1/7).

oraprod server will be unavailable for maintenance on January 5, 2016.
Among those systems that will be affected are:
1. Online Evaluation System
2. Bb4all Course Merging Tool
3. Parking System

At around 9:30am today we will be changing over to the new Exchange 2013 CAS Servers. The only thing this should effect is the look of webmail. It will now have the Exchange 2013 theme causing it to look different than it did in the past.
